Butter-Fried Herb Chicken Breast

  • 1 lb chicken breast strips, boneless, skinless
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp allspice (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme leaves
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Butter, coat non-stick frying pan

Preparation and Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Here is the quick and easy step by step process to create this chicken dish.

STEP 1:  Wash and towel dry chicken. Season with sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, allspice (optional), dried oregano and thyme leaves.

STEP 2: Turn stove to medium heat. Warm butter in non-stick frying pan.

STEP 3: Pour flour on a plate and use it to lightly coat chicken. Place coated chicken in skillet.

STEP 4: Fry chicken in butter, 3- 4 minutes each side, or until golden brown.

STEP 5: Remove from pan. Sprinkle with crushed peppercorn (optional).

Final step – enjoy! Slice and serve in salad, wraps, sandwiches or even use to make chicken fettuccine.
