Change up your salad routine and make it all about flavourful fresh herbs topped with a tangy home made dressing. Herbs are the leafy part of any plant used for culinary or even medicinal purposes in general. So imagine the great things this herb salad will not only do for your taste buds but for your insides as well.
Mix together simple fresh herbs such as: basil; parsley; dill; tarragon; mint and coriander. Add thinly sliced radish.
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1½ tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon sumac
Sumac also provides a distinct tangy flavour and is optional if you don’t have it. Add extra lemon juice as needed.
Assemble salad as desired in a large bowl. Add in nuts like almonds, pecans or walnuts as desired. Add dressing, toss and enjoy the amazing burst of flavours.
